1In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach 2until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. 3After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. 4On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 5For John baptized with[a] water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."
6So when they met together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?"
7He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
9After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
10They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11"Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."
was reading this at 3am, sent out a message on this to my MT group as well.
why did i bold v7 and v8?
simple. because i feel that we should trust God's timing.
in the mission field, we have to keep looking to God. we can't do things ourselves.
we shouldn't expect changes to happen immediately because God's timing is always right. there is a reason for every single thing.
v8.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
In the mission field, we are gonna experience God's power.
In this context, 'witnessing' does not only mean seeing, but instead both seeing and telling others what God has done! (this gets me really excited)

went around taking photos today.
was starbucks (bugis) drinking my frap.
saw some kids playing with the fountain so decided to snap some shots after finishing my frap.
sigh, children are just so innocent.
watching them play also makes me feel happy.
as we grow older, we won't get satisfied so easily, unlike them.

okay, let's start off with 18th november.
went to AMK hub in the afternoon to get my EF-S 55-250mm lens:D
quite stunned by the quality.
there it is, and my first shot!
after that, had MT training.
pretty good.
and yeah, thanks for singing a birthday song for me!:)
19th november.
i woke up it was seven, and i waited till eleven just to figure out that no one would call.
went to doreen neo's house at 9!
da pao roti prata for her. lol.
help her restring her guitar and before i left she gave me a present:)
(i haven't open it :/)
afternoon, met up with sherylckx for lunch.
and she passed me my present.
thanks alot, really:)
it looks nice, it tastes nice.
went to jurong point for dinner with my family!
ate at nyny. and i bought my shoes, like finally.
reached home, went out again.
at first thought i was gonna meet yanru only.
then i suspected something when she was acting weird and trevor's messages were :S
so yeah. trevor, qien, mildred, becky, justin, yh and kianhwee were outside kfc waiting for me.
hahaha. went to my house the void deck to 'celebrate', then walked yanru home.

went to watch 2012 yesterday with trevor, qien, becky, yanru and mildred.
was quite okay. talk about it later.
yep. met trevor and qien earlier to go get tickets and some guitar stuff from bras basah. now my guitar sounds so bright!:D
went back to iluma and played at the arcade outrun2 and hummer was fun man. lol.
ate dinner at ben10 cafe with the girls then went for the movie.

Captain John Terry put Chelsea five points clear of Manchester United at the top of the Premier League with a second-half matchwinner at Stamford Bridge.
chelsea won! the ref sucked too.
anyway, both teams played very well. cech and van der sar were awesome.
have not been blogging much cause everyday is eat sleep play.
today is the 9th of november, which means 19 more days to MT!:D

Trotters trounced by Blues.
and, awww. liverpool lost.

you know, sometimes hate people on fb. man utd, chelsea, arsenal fans are celebrating their win and liverpool fans just like to find problem with US.
sour grape.
and some pool fans are *ahem* dumb.
telling me liverpool will win EPL/UCL, is the same as telling me Uruguay will win the world cup again.
who cares. Chelsea's winning and i like it.

Frank Lampard scored from a penalty for which the award had led to the sending off of Jloyd Samuel just before half-time.
